About Maryn

Hi! My name is Maryn, I'm 20 years old, and am a student studying pre K-6th education! I like working with kids because there is no better feeling than watching them learn something new. I love to teach and integrate play with learning, knowledge is power! I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling and fun, I'd love to find a family that I really mesh with:) I started working with kids when I was 12, my mom owned an in-home daycare when I was growing up so I was grandfathered in! I became her assistant director once I turned 16, and began overseeing the crafts, the learning, and all the fun inbetween! In my spare time, I like to read, I have a mini poodle I like to take on walks, and I love to hang out with my friends and family! One thing you should know about me is I love to interact with the kids! I love to play hide and seek, count blocks, and sort colors! My skills include things like deescalation, patience, and creativity
