About Mary

I grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, a turtle, horses, cows, birds, fish and cared for a neighbor's goats, chickens on and off while they went out of town. I've taken care of several exotic pets including snakes, lizards and a large variety of birds for a friend who owned a whole lot of birds. My husband and I have also had a variety of birds , but now have just one small parrot and a bunch of feral cats out in the backyard. I'm thinking of getting another dog one of these days, but I kind of enjoy helping out with others pets so they can relax while on vacations etc. We usually have to board our small parrot when we go out of town because my husband is very protective of his bird.
