About Mary

Hi! My name is Mary and I am just returning to Care. com. While gone, I worked for a wonderful family full-time for a couple of years, continued my schooling and am just wrapping up my first year as a TA in an elementary school. Since I am enjoying a lighter load this summer, I would like to spend some time helping out and caring for children in the evenings and weekends. Before joining this site, I worked in a child care setting for over 12 years. Working in a day care setting, I was able to do what I love but one of my regrets is not being able to spend as much one on one time with a child. I love knowing I made a child happy and made even a small impact on their development. I believe every child needs to have a balance with fun and learning and I love to interact, care and teach.
