About Marylou

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary students, I specialize in creating an engaging, patient environment where learning feels achievable. I assess your child's needs by actively listening and observing how they interact with new material, ensuring my methods align with their specific style. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to build momentum. I believe open communication with families is essential to fostering a truly collaborative relationship. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks and seeing a student's confidence soar. I am happy to travel to your home to provide this personalized support. I look forward to helping your child grow and succeed on their educational journey.
