About Mary

When my husband was diagnosed with ALS, our world changed overnight. It was a time filled with uncertainty, fear, and countless challenges. In the midst of it all, we were incredibly fortunate to have Mary by our side. Mary wasn’t just a caregiver — she became part of our family. Her presence brought warmth, compassion, and calm to even the most difficult days. From the moment she arrived, she treated my husband with the utmost dignity and respect, always attentive to his needs and gentle in her care. She took time to understand his preferences, his routines, and most importantly, the person he was beyond the illness. What set Mary apart was her unwavering commitment. She never viewed her work as just a job. She showed up every day with patience, a steady heart, and a sense of purpose. Whether it was managing complex medical routines, offering emotional support, or simply holding his hand during a hard moment, Mary gave her all — consistently and lovingly. She also supported me and the rest of our family in ways I can’t fully put into words. Her presence gave us space to breathe, to rest, and to cherish the moments we had together. She brought light into a very dark time, and we will forever be grateful for the grace and strength she shared with us. Mary is more than an exceptional caregiver — she is a remarkable human being.
