I am also able to communicate with physicians and others to coordinate appointments, request refills, schedule testing, and transportation as necessary, including errands My experience includes: *Dementia and Alzheimer's. *Parkinsons. *Oncology. *Hospice. *Oxygen Therapy and Respiratory Treatments. *Diabetic care including blood glucose testing and insulin administration. *Medication management. *Hygiene and wound care. *Mobility assistance, including assistive devices. *Meal preparation and feeding. *Light housekeeping. I'm a non-smoker and have excellent references, reliable transportation, and I am comfortable with pets.

I hired Mary to work with my mom who was 91 1/2 years old. She had suffered a stroke, then was diagnosed with rectal cancer. She has exceptional clinical and nursing skills. Although I worked in health care, Mary was a strong advocate for my mom with multiple specialists. She knew what questions to ask. She attended all of my mom's appointments. If I could not go, she took her. She would then keep me apprised of the appointment's results. Mary is an exceptional communicator. If I was unfamiliar with terminology, she would explain it in detail. She is reliable. Mary NEVER took one day off in two and a half years. Towards the end, if I called her at night or on the weekend, she would ALWAYS take my call. My mom was a registered nurse who was "the most stubborn woman." She and Mary would have dialog about her treatment, taking her pills etc. Mary got pushback from her. But at the end of the conversation, my mom would always say, "Mary you are always right."
