About Mary Kay

I worked with Mary Kay about thirty years ago at a company which later merged with another company in the community support programs for adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses. We have remained in contact since, meeting every couple of months for lunch, socializing about our work and families and networking about the social services system. We both returned to college and graduated from the Winona State Social Work program in the early 2000's. She is dedicated to serving others and respectful of her clients, who come with complex co-occurring disorders and complicated psychosocial situations. She is a steady employee, having worked at my workplace for as long as I have known her. I have also witnessed her devote herself to caring roles with her aging father and as a mother and grandmother. She is flexible, thoughtful and does what is needed to improve circumstances in both her work and personal life. Sincerely, Carol
