I graduated from BYU with a degree in Business Management and Therapeutic Recreation, and I am pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Many of my courses were focused on applying therapeutic concepts and research-based interventions to help improve the quality of life for people with a variety of different abilities and struggles. Since graduation, I worked as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist at a behavioral health hospital, and as the Program Director at an independent living center for young adults who have autism, nonverbal learning disorder, and a variety of mental health challenges. I recently started my own business to continue helping people with different abilities. I am looking for a part-time opportunity to use my skills and experience to help young adults become more resilient and achieve the independence that they desire.
