About Mary Joyce C

For the last 8 years I have cared for several individuals ranging from basic elderly needs such as companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping, etc. to long term illness such as initial cancer diagnosis to end of life. I am competent with assisting individuals who have limited mobility and can safely transfer them from bed to chair, car, etc. I am also adept at administering and monitoring medications with the exception of IV (intravenous medications)., and can provide healthy meal planning and follow dietary recommendations. I also have extensive experience caring for individuals with Demetria and Alzheimer's. Also, with a BS degree in Kinesiology I can assist with designing a non stressful exercise program if appropriate to the patients mobility. Finally, I will evaluate the home environment and if necessary make recommendations to create a safe home.
