Hello! My name is MaryJo and I live in Old Lyme. I have 3 sons. I've worked for several families in different capacities including as a childcare provider, full and part time. Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, gardening, yoga and antique shopping. I have a flexible schedule and will do my best to accommodate your needs!

Mary Jo is great! She is communicative, caring and joyful. My 5 year old son loves going to her house! He loves her family and he feels right at home there. We are very happy with the care our child gets and we highly recommend. 

Mary Jo is kind, generous, and attentive. She watched my 1.5 YO and 3 YO during the school year and we all absolutely loved her. As a working mom I felt very secure having my children in her care. Highly recommend!

Honestly she was amazing , the best I've found on care . Thoughtful, smart, honest and dependable. I have an autistic child and as worried as she might have been about not being able to accommodate or handle him, she didn't let that deter her- she was willing to try and she did a last minute emergency care session for me when I got called in to a meeting at work , it went beautifully ( she also made me feel at ease) and then went out of her way to bring me a charger we forgot at her (beautiful , very clean ) home  . I would highly recommend her to anyone special needs or not .

Mary Jo is a wonderful person and an experienced childcare provider. She has three kids of her own and has provided care for many children along the years.  We tried daycare for a while when our daughter was 4-9 months old and she loved it but she was always getting sick.  She needed a medical procedure so we needed to keep her healthy to have it done. We were blessed that Mary Jo was available to take care of her. Our daughter loves going to her house and feels safe and comfortable there.   We can go to work and feel happy she is well cared for. Mary Jo gives us updates during the day, her house is always clean and kid safe, and she is very flexible with the times we need.  We appreciate her very much.

Mary Jo was a wonderful caretaker for my four year old. It's always nice when my son doesn't want to leave the sitter's house. That is a very good sign. 

Mary Jo is wonderful!! She started caring for our newborn when I had to go back to work after maternity leave. She put my worries at ease and took excellent care of our daughter. She offered advice and felt more like a friend. Mary Jo was always flexible with our ever changing schedule. We couldn't have asked for a better caregiver and that's why we continue to trust her with our daughter's care. Our daughter loves her time at Mary Jo's house and we are so happy we found her!

Mary Jo was great with my 3 year old. He had a lot of fun playing with her children and asked to go back everyday. We will definitely use Mary Jo again!!

Mary Jo watched our 2 children dependably for a period of over 10 weeks. She was always great with communication on if she was unable for care or if any changes needed to be made to our schedule. Our children loved her, and we were able to leave them with her and not worry. Would love to work with her again. She is a must hire!

Mary Jo is an amazing care giver. She helped care for my daughter this summer while my husband and I transitioned to the area. She was very flexible with scheduling and my daughter loved the time she spent at her home! Would definitely hire again.
