About Mary Jane

Empowering students to reach their full potential has been my primary focus for the past 10 years. I hold a graduate degree and specialize in English, Test Preparation, History, and Study Skills for students ranging from elementary school through college. My approach centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my teaching methods--incorporating visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice--to suit your unique needs. I believe open communication is the foundation of a successful partnership, and I prioritize building a supportive rapport to help you navigate challenging concepts. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a local coffee shop, I am committed to your long-term success. I find true joy in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks for you.
