About Maryhelen

My name is Helen, and I'm 21 years old. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at CSU Bakersfield and Antelope Valley College. I previously majored in Dietetics and Nutrition, giving me a strong background in child nutrition and meal prep. I work full-time at a daycare/preschool, caring for children ages 18 months to 12 years. As the second oldest of six, I've always had a passion for working with children and creating safe, fun, and engaging environments. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and experienced in indoor/outdoor care, including meals and activities. I love arts, crafts, games, and hands-on learning, and enjoy outdoor play, walking, and swimming. As a former varsity swimmer and water polo player, I'm confident supervising water play. My goal is to become a first grade teacher to support young children's growth. I'm available on weekends and open to flexible scheduling.
