About Maryhelen

Hi! My name is Helen, and I'm an experienced childcare provider currently pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have several years of experience caring for children ages 10 months to 14 years in daycare, preschool, school, after-school, and special education settings. I've worked as a preschool and school-age teacher, after-school teacher, and special education aide. My experience includes supervising children, preparing snacks and meals, diapering, helping with homework, and planning fun, age-appropriate activities. I enjoy crafts, outdoor play, walks, and keeping children engaged. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and have swim instructor training, so I'm comfortable with pools and water play. I can also help with light housekeeping related to the children. I do not provide transportation, but I'm happy to take children on neighborhood walks or to nearby parks. My goal is to become an elementary school teacher!
