About Mary

Unlocking your academic potential is my primary goal. I have been a high school science and math teacher for 3 years, and I specialize in Math, Science, and Test Preparation for elementary through high school students. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize creating a patient, engaging environment where you feel supported. By actively listening and observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my strategies-using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions-to match your specific needs. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you motivated. I maintain open communication with you and your parents to ensure we are always aligned. Witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult topic finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you build the confidence to reach your goals.
