My desire to work in a special needs position comes from my own life experiences. Growing up with two siblings with special needs shaped my understanding, patience, and compassion from an early age. Supporting them and advocating for their needs has always been a natural part of my life. Professionally, I have carried this passion into my work as an RBT and as a paraprofessional at a high school, where I built meaningful connections with students and supported them in their daily growth and independence. These experiences confirmed my passion for helping others and ultimately led me to pursue a career in occupational therapy, where I hope to continue making a positive and lasting impact.
