Hi there! My name is Mary and I am a 23 yr old college grad. I have a degree in dance and psychology, and am hoping to go back to school to get my masters in social work. I have been caring for kids since I was 13 as a nanny and babysitter. I was a caretaker for 3 years for a terminally ill girl. I also worked 8 months at an emergency youth shelter and residential treatment center where I worked with kids with trauma, mental illness, behaviors, and self-harm. The kids in this shelter and residential treatment center were ages 4-17. I also worked in the crisis intake center with kids of all ages. I love working with kids, I love to dance, play the guitar, read, and sing. I enjoy being active outdoors and being creative! I am currently working part time as a dance teacher at a studio in Brooklyn. The only time constraint I have is that I teach dance on Monday's at 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. This time constraint will end at the end of May. I look forward to hearing from you! -Mary
