About Mary

I am Ukrainian. I taught both children and adults for many years. Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. I specialize in Math, Foreign Language, and essential study skills for learners from elementary school through college. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By observing your unique interaction with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to ensure concepts click. I break down complex problems into manageable steps, celebrating every "aha!" moment along the way. I believe open communication with you and your family is the foundation of our collaborative success. Whether we are tackling challenging coursework or developing critical thinking skills, I am dedicated to your long-term academic growth. I look forward to helping you discover just how much you are capable of achieving.
