About Mary Ellen

Hello! I am a bright, warm, and patient person with a natural ease when it comes to helping others. I am a gifted communicator and fully capable of catering my methods to fit the child's learning style most beneficially. The goal is to find new ways of looking at any problem in the hopes of finding a solution using THEIR strengths, vs the "standard" method. I don't have the traditional experience with tutoring, but I always tutored my little sister, was the go-to problem solver in my old office, and I also have ample experience assisting my diagnosed schizophrenic brother with his focus and understanding of a variety of situations. I was an English major at Mizzou, have loved reading and writing my entire life, and am currently back in school in pursuit of a career in therapy/counselling. Please reach out with any questions!
