Hi, my name is Maryellen and I'm a teacher/nanny with many years of experience. I have two teens (16, 18). I was born and raised in upstate NY. I was passionate about childhood education early on. I have been a children's skating instructor, swim instructor for special needs and summer kids, preschool teacher, day care provider, house manager, nanny, autism caregiver, and babysitter for all ages. I also provide respite care for infants overnight. I love to see how a child's personality begins to form and enjoy witnessing their mental, emotional, and social development every single day. It's an honor and privilege to have ab influence on their progress, no matter how large or small the steps. Your child's safety, happiness, and growth are my highest priorities. I take my position very seriously and know that I have a big influence on their childhood experiences throughout the time I am with them. Maryellen was wonderful. Our 6 months old bonded with her right away and did not cry once throughout the day. We struggle with day naps but somehow Maryellen used her magic on him and he had 2 power naps during the day. Maryellen is extremely reliable and we would definitely hire her again.
