Hello! I have always loved working with children of all ages. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught in the Troy School District for over two years. I also have five years of tutoring experience with students ranging from kindergarten to 4th grade. While earning my degree, I worked at Creative Beginnings Child Development Center, a daycare and preschool in Mt. Pleasant. The three years I spent there gave me hands-on experience with a wide range of age groups, from infants to 4-year-olds. I've had the joy of working with a wonderful family, starting when their oldest was just 4 months old (he's now turning 7!) and caring for their youngest since birth. As both children will be in school full-time, the family no longer needs care. I'm now looking to connect with a new family starting this month. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones! Mary is absolutely the best babysitter we have had for our little guy. She treats him with love and respect. Mary worked at the daycare our guy attends and was a teacher he always gravitated towards because she is happy, caring and always gets down to his level. She challenges him with questions, conversation and always has a great memory for his needs and desires. We like Mary as well because she is honest with us about how things went while we have been away. Mary is the only sitter we have trusted to drive (with his car seat!) him while we were out of town once. She really became part of our family and she is well educated (4.0s!!) and we would highly recommend her! We wish didn't move :(
