About Mary

Hi I'm Mary! I'm a certified elementary teacher with a Master's degree and experience working with kids from toddlers through 5th grade. I currently sub in K-2 classrooms and feel comfortable supporting all ages, routines, and personalities. I love creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment through crafts, games, outdoor play, and learning activities! Building trust with kids is my top priority, and I focus on helping them feel heard, supported, and confident. I also value strong communication with families and aim to be reliable, organized, and consistent. I'd describe myself as empathetic, dependable, and enthusiastic. I love working with kids because of their curiosity and honesty. It's rewarding to support their growth and be a positive presence in their lives! In my free time I enjoy pickleball, hiking, kayaking, cooking, board games, music, and time with family and friends. I'm very goal-driven and I rarely give up once I commit to something.
