About Mary Catherine
My experience is housekeeping comes down to basic day to day cleaning, running around, fixing, cooking and picking up after brothers. I went to a Montessori school where we were required to spend time in the kitchen cooking cleaning and shopping for the students and teachers. We also volunteered in the children's house to read, clean up after the kids and wash laundry. In my house I did most of the cleaning (cars and lawns included)while my dad was sick for about a year and my brothers had to work. I'm not going to say that housework is my favorite thing to do but I'm good at it and I do enjoy the smell of a clean kitchen or the satisfaction of getting all the laundry done.
