About Mary

Hello! My name is Mary, and I am a current Junior at MU on a pre-physical therapy track! I have 4 years of hands-on experience working at the YMCA Kids' Corner, where I engage in playtime activities and crafts, as well as keeping a clean, safe, welcoming environment for the children. This role taught me a lot about the importance of patience, reliability, and enthusiasm when building relationships with both kids and parents. Being around and caring for children brings me so much joy and has never felt something I "have to" do, but that I "get to" do; I love seeing each child grow and develop in their personalities and interests. I am currently looking for a summer job, as I will be home from school beginning in May.
