About Mary Beth

I am a graduate of a nanny/governess school and I have been working as a certified professional nanny/governess for 29 years. Being a caregiver and mother myself, I believe raising children is a rewarding and important job, and I take the responsibility very seriously. I've taken college classes that relate to helping children with homework (Math, Science, History, Spanish, etc.), social issues (Childhood, Educational & Adolescent Psychology, Child Growth and Development, Behavior Modification, etc.), and everyday living (Nutrition, Health, Physical Education, etc) While at nanny school, I was certified in CPR, AAA defensive driving and First Aid (Red Cross Standard). I enjoy outdoor activities, crafts, all-day outings, creative play, reading and managing play dates. My goals while working are to provide a loving, caring, safe, and educational environment, and to be actively involved in the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of the children.
