Experience: 20 yrs
As a dedicated childcare professional with 20 years of experience, I possess the skills and passion necessary to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of all ages. My journey in childcare began with a personal passion for fostering children's growth and development, and I find immense joy in making a positive impact on their lives. My patient, calm, and creative personality enables me to connect with children effortlessly. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred methods to provide regular updates about their child's day and address any concerns that arise. Enforcing household rules comes naturally to me, ensuring a structured and disciplined environment for the children in my care. I enjoy engaging children in various activities that promote physical, intellectual, and emotional growth, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games.
Mary started working for us when my baby was 4.5 months old. As a first-time mom, I was incredibly nervous about letting someone else care for him—especially since he had colic as a newborn and was tough to soothe with a long list of preferences. Honestly, sometimes my husband and I couldn’t even figure out what he needed, so the idea of someone else trying felt really overwhelming. But Mary has been an absolute godsend. She’s been with us about 16 hours a week for over two months now, and I truly couldn’t imagine anyone better. She’s raised three kids of her own, and you can instantly tell she’s an incredible mom. That same love and instinct is what she brings into caring for my son. He’s 7 months old now, and Mary does everything with him—mealtime, nature walks, time in the yard, story time, getting him dressed, making sure he has everything he needs. He is SO happy with her. I work from home and have never once felt worried while he’s in her care. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever even heard him cry when he’s with her. We do a mix of contact and crib naps, and when he’s down in the crib, Mary helps with tidying up or finds other ways to be helpful without needing direction. She’s proactive, loving, and trustworthy. Anyone would be lucky to have Mary caring for their little ones.
