About Mary

Hi, my name is Mary! I'm a creative, compassionate, and safety-conscious caregiver with over 10 years of experience as a nanny, babysitter, and private teacher for children ranging from 3 months to 13 years old. I hold a degree in English Literature from Wheaton College and have cared for a wide variety of families, including large households, multiples, and children (and young adults) with disabilities. I love engaging kids through crafts, games, reading aloud, and music-whether that's singing together or supporting piano and violin practice. I'm also happy to help with homework and reading skills, and I'm comfortable with basic cooking and meal prep, including for children with dietary restrictions. My goal is to create a warm, structured environment that encourages creativity, learning, and plenty of fun. I take joy in supporting each child's unique personality and growth.
