I am a retired Respiratory Therapist, in my 60's, a Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist. I have a child with Down syndrome and autism, I've worked with people with special needs since I volunteered in grade school. I have cared for people with cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, (aside from my own 14yr old child) and a variety of other special needs. I am gentle and kind as well as understanding of what many caregivers go through. I no longer work in the hospital setting after 40years, but I still have gifts to give and skills to administer to those who require that special touch.
