About Maryann
Experience: 10 yrs
Initially worked on the unit of nursing home care followed by working as a Recreation Therapist. Both positions were working with our seniors, mostly WWII Vets. Period covering July 2003 through November 2014. I also worked as a private companion for a woman in her 80's who struggled with depression. Worked with her until she passed away, which was 2 yrs. This was back in 2016 through 2018. In addition to my professional career, I cared for my mother who suffered from Alzheimer's for years before she needed full time nursing care. I make an excellent companion, am fine with light housekeeping, laundry, running errands, printing medications as well as taking client to doctors appointments, shopping etc. I also love animals & have had numerous pets throughout my lifetime. I currently have a 7-month-old Shih Tzu! I am honest, reliable, responsible, caring & compassionate. I look forward to being of service to those in need.
