About Maryanne

I am easy going, kind, and a good listener.. Having 4 children and 10 soon to be 11 grandchildren of my own, children can be great conversationalist. Us adults can learn a lot about children if we would just stop and listen! I started working with kids as a teenager after school. During the summer, there was Summer Camp, where I was a cabin counselor with different age groups throughout the summer months. Kids of all ages are interesting to talk with as they share their ideas of how our world should be shaped. I love to talk with one of my 2-year-old grandsons. They are our future, and we really need to sit up and pay attention! In my spare time, I like to crochet, grow a garden, travel, camping, and road trips. One thing you should know about me is I have a son who lives in Indiana. My other three live in Georgia, Louisiana, and Ghana West Africa. My skills include helping with homework, cooking, and taking walks!
