About Maryann

I am passionate about learning and using knowledge to improve lives. In high school, I took science, math, and programming courses, which motivated me to pursue both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Software Engineering. My love of teaching emerged in high school when I noticed close friends struggling in our calculus class. I began holding tutoring sessions before school and during lunch breaks, creating collaborative learning experiences that improved their grades while deepening my own understanding. In college, I built strong foundations that have enabled me to tutor math, coding, and academic writing. Over recent years, I have tutored students from elementary age through adults. What sets me apart is my ability to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable, helping students build both knowledge and confidence in STEM subjects.
