Hello! My name is Mary-Allison and I have been a 5th grade teacher for the past 8 years. I graduated from College of Charleston with honors in 2011 and I have TONS of experience with children of all ages including: 17 years babysitting experience (newborn-age 15), 5 years as a head camp counselor for the YMCA, 2 years as a teacher's aide at a preschool, 5 years as a part-time nanny, several years working at multiple educational summer programs, and 8 years as a 5th grade teacher. As a YMCA camp counselor, I worked with children ages 5 - 13 in a homogenous group. I designed and headed the camp program which integrated studies in academics and the arts. As a preschool aide I attended to 2 and 3-year-olds at a progressive education center in downtown Charleston, SC. As a nanny I have cared for multiple families with children 6 months-10 years old. I am young, energetic, fun, and willing to do any type of activity. Children are my passion and I would love to meet yours!
