My name is Marva and I have been working with children for over 25 years. I have 3 grown daughters and 4 grandchildren. Also worked with infants and Toddlers inside my home and Daycare Facilities. I enjoy reading, singing songs and doing arts and crafts and yes helping with potty training. I love teaching child life skills like manners and sharing . I love working with 0-5-year-old cause it is never a dull moment!!!

Marva is amazing! She has cared for my twins on two different occasions and each time has been great! She keeps them busy, entertained and engaged! They love going to Ms. Marva; they forget all about me when we arrive to her location. She keeps me informed, sends updates and makes it such a worry-free experience! She has become my first point of contact when looking for care. 

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Ms. Marva so far! She has been wonderful taking care of our infant twin girls and has been attentive, patient and loving with them. We especially appreciate her keeping us updated throughout care time by sending photos and videos even when she’s in our own home. The updates mean a lot and reassures us that they’re happy, safe and well cared for. 

Wonderful! My 2 yr old son is usually stand-offish around new people & places but he was happy, comfortable, & excited from the very first tour! Her home is clean, safe and Toddler -friendly. She is very patient, dependable and communicates often via videos during his time there! She follows children’s cues, while maintaining great routine w/ books, crafts, hands on learning & engaging activities, & limited educational screen time. My son was sitting on the potty his first day! Highly recommend!

Truly Heaven sent. Finding childcare for your children is never an easy task, no matter how old your kids are. My children took to Marva immediately. So much so, neither of them wanted to leave her side upon meeting her for the first time. If you need a nanny, she’s the absolutely best! 

Marva is hands down the best choice I’ve made when it comes to the development of my son. She’s super friendly and honest about her intentions with all aspects of his care. There’s nothing I can ask of her that she doesn’t already have knowledge or experience in and that brings great comfort to a working mother’s heart. She has a loving family and the whole environment is great for kids!! So impressed and amazed. Alan and I are always so thankful for Ms. Marva days! 

This is not a negative caregiving review as we did not make it to the start date after being hired and accepting the offer. Note to care givers. Please don’t accept an offer or even interview if you are not certain on your availability. Discuss these things with your current employer as you would with any other place of business. You would not accept a new job elsewhere without knowing your end date at your current position or your availability. Treat our lives with the same respect please. I like structure in my life. Ms. Marva seems to be a decent person overall. We set up a virtual FaceTime interview on a Sunday, discussed role as well needs , talked about commitment and communication and the availability . She agreed it was there and it fit her scheduling needs perfect. I offered the position on a Tuesday. She accepted we discussed setting up payment etc. Ms. Marva then notified me the next morning to rescind the acceptance stating her current family will now need her for Fridays as well and she is no longer available. I am now starting the process over hoping to find someone in 2 days of time. Please consider these things. 

Ms Marva has worked with us for over a month as a full-time nanny caring for my 3-year-old and my baby.  She is obviously passionate about what she does.  She has been consistently on time, responsible, and reliable.  She has engaged my son in learning - colors, numbers, words, days, months, and Spanish. No joke within 1 week, Ms Marva had the 9-month-old falling asleep and staying asleep in her crib, which had been a struggle - she is a baby whisperer.
The best part? Ms Marva likes to have fun - singing, dancing, reading books, being silly, playing games.  Incorporating fun is so important for my kids - and she keeps up with the wild 3-year-old. Ms Marva is like family and has become an important figure in our lives.  I trust her very much. I'm happy to recommend Ms Marva without any reservation.

Marva has been a regular nanny for me for over a month now.  She is caring for my younger 3-year-old who is blind.  Marva is absolutely wonderful!  She has brought toys over to stimulate my daughter, and she plays music for her and talks to her.  I highly recommend Marva!

While I was pregnant I had anxiety over who would care for my baby while my husband and I work. With both of our families out of state I prayed to find a local grandmother to watch my baby. 

My prayers were answered with Marva, a grandmother and baby whispering nanny.
Here are 5 ways she blesses my family each week:

1. She's reliable. Marva consistently shows up at the agreed upon dates and times. She watches my baby all week and one thing I never have to worry about is whether or not she is coming.

2. She's loving. Marva clearly loves children and has a way of really connecting with them. If I can't be with my baby all day the next best thing is for her to be with someone who celebrates her, not just tolerates her, and we have that in Marva. My baby loves her.

3. She's active. My baby is booked and busy with Ms. Marva. They do tummy time multiple times a day, read stories, go on walks, sing and dance. She even introduced my baby to jazz. I love that she doesn't just sit around with the baby watching TV. They actually have full, productive days that aid in development, discovery and growth.

4. She's solution focused. My baby has come with a number of challenges from really bad gas and re-flux to wanting to be held constantly. Marva came up with a way for us to burp the baby during her feeds without her screaming bloody murder. This has helped her gas and re-flux tremendously. She also has my baby sleeping in her own room. We are now able to put the baby down when she's drowsy and she'll self soothe and go to sleep. Before Marva this was a fantasy.

5. She has great energy. Ms. Marva is one of those people you meet that you feel like you've known forever. She's easy to communicate with and strikes a balance between following your wishes and leveraging her expertise to maintain the most peaceful, happy environment for everyone. I appreciate that she shows up to work everyday with a positive attitude as it definitely rubs off even after a long night. 

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Ms. Marva and would rehire in a heartbeat. Any family who finds her has hit the jackpot.

Marva is a lifesaver!! She's is like family.  She's so good with my two mt old baby girl. My daughter lights up whenever she sees Marva.  I know she is well taken care of whenever Marva is with her. She always sends me cute pics and updates when I'm at work. I could not imagine having anyone else with my baby girl.

Very nice and caring babysitter, came on short notice and jump right into the job. My daughter love her. Would love to work with her again.

She left me hanging on the last minute when, I really needed her to babysit my children. I couldn't go to work because she called out a few hours before her schedule was supposed to start. I will never hire her again.

Marva has a nurturing spirit that warmed my heart from the moment we spoke. She is rational and will care for your child like her own. My son starting smiling no more than 2 minutes of being with her. I will definitely hire again.
