About Maru

My pet philosophy: Witnessing the unique personalities of the pets I care for brings me joy. I maintain a clean and secure environment, always interacting with your pet and watching for signs of distress. I ensure they feel comfortable and loved while with me. I specialize in boarding rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, birds, and other small pets, including small dogs and cats. I only take one pet (or family of pets) at one time, so please book early. How I'll work with you: Responsible, kind, and empathetic, I aim to be a friend who solves your pet sitting needs without stress, giving you peace of mind while you're away. In emergencies, I remain calm, follow pre-discussed plans, and immediately contact you. I also provide pickup and drop off when needed. About me: I was pet mom to rabbits, two dogs, two cats, a hamster, and beta fish. As an empty nester working from home, I treat client pets as grandchildren. I am an Education Consultant and speak English and Spanish.
