About Martijn

Hi there! I'm Martijn, a long time animal lover and new to the area since moving in with my girlfriend. Looking to take your furry family members on walks, drop by to check on them, or just give them some lovin and attention while you're away! I first started working with animals in 2019 at the Charlottesville. After the pandemic I shifted my focus to pet sitting/dog walking. Now that I'm new to Maryland, I'd like to pick up with new clients. Three qualities as a pet sitter I'd like to highlight: 1. Patience. Whether it's an elderly dog that takes a little longer to walk or shy cat that won't come out from under the bed. 2. Understanding animal's body language. Knowing when your furry friend is excited, anxious, tense, or happy is important to animal care. 3. Respecting the owner's space and property. You're paying me to take care of your loved ones, as a dog owner myself I would only want the highest quality service for my boy. You'll get that from me.
