About Martha
I was licensed, insured, bonded and passed a certification on animal care through Petsitters International in Orlando Florida in 2014-16. I've also taken a course in Animal 1st Aid. I can pet sit almost anything but don't do bears. (Seriously though I also don't do hoofed animals.) I've had parrots most of life and was President of the Avicultural Society of Oklahoma. Working with birds taught me so much about the subtleties of animal behavior. It is an honor to gain an animal's trust. Pet sitting is also an honor and a serious responsibility because it's your family members and home.
