My name is Martha and I have been working as a Nanny for several years. I was born and raised in Honduras so English is my second language but I communicate very well. I also went to college in Honduras. I have experience working with kids of different ages and in different parts of New York but Manhattan primarily. I am looking for a job because the last family I worked for only needed me part time. I am very passionate about my job which is why I have continued in childcare for over 20 years. I love watching children grow and teaching them new skills. I feel like I can make a difference in the lives of these children by providing them with care and attention while also teaching them lifelong habits, such as manners, that will assist them in becoming successful adults. My husband and I interviewed Martha to take care of our 2 month old baby girl. Unfortunately Martha could not continue the interview process with us due to where we live. I wanted to write a review for her because we really liked her and wanted to continue the process. She is warm, funny, engaging, personable and has tons of experience. She speaks Spanish and English and enjoys teaching babies and kids how to speak and read Spanish. After our phone call, she called me the next day with a referral for a friend of hers who can easily get to our apartment. What a gem!
