About Martha

My name is Martha I'm 48yrs old retired and would love to help out with elderly care. I live in Oakley, Ca. and although I do not have professional experience caring for the elderly I cared for my father while on hospice for cancer, my mother and helped my grand parents when they were ill and/or recovering from surgeries. I believe love helps us heal and is such an important aspect of care. I'm compassionate to those seeking care for their loved ones and would love help support that beautiful jester of kindness. I can help with meal prep, reminding to take medication, walks, activities, grocery shopping, light housekeeping and laundry. Depending on distance I can provide care a few times a week or one time basis. Please note care more than 5 miles from my home affects the hourly rate. I don't mind driving long distances so long as my time and gas are considered. * Unfortunately I cannot help with bathing, changing diapers, any heavy lifting or injections of any kind.
