From 1982 to 1983, I had had a formal year of nursing training at Arizona Western College in Yuma, AZ. Later, the Arizona Board of Nursing granted me a license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. My work was mostly with our elderly population. Some of my Medicare cases, however, involved younger people with some type of disability requiring my assistance for personal care, wound care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I also had private cases related to neurologic injury, such as near-drowning, requiring tracheostomy, J-Tube care, colostomy care, and passive range-of-motion exercises. In the last decade, my focus has been teaching. However, when the opportunity presents that I can be of service by caring for someone, particularly on weekends of evenings, I would be very happy to help you. I am a well-trained, caring, and trustworthy person. And, I enjoy working and visiting with the elderly many of whom are my temporary neighbors in the winter. For your peace of mind, I have a current fingerprint card which I can present to you and your family.
