Experience: 10 yrs
I have 20 years of nanny experience with all age children from Infant to elementary age. I have a degree in elementary education, and I love children. I am very patient and affectionate, responsible and trustworthy. I have cared for several newborns and infants over the years and have completed my Newborn Care Specialist training. I am currently finishing up my Postpartum Doula training as well. I am experienced and comfortable with breastfeeding and formula feeding, introducing solids, and making homemade baby food. I also have experience as a night nanny and gentle sleep coaching. I am a happy person, and easy to get along with. As a parent, I have had caregivers myself, and understand the importance of finding the right, qualified person to care for your infant. I have excellent references. I am currently available a few nights/week for night nanny. I will have availability for Newborn Care Specialist/Postpartum Doula clients starting September 2026.
I am delighted to recommend Martha as a nanny. She cared for our infant during a very important transition period as I returned to work, and she quickly became an invaluable part of our family. From day one, she was kind, thoughtful, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable about infant care. As first-time parents, my husband and I appreciated her guidance, confidence, and willingness to share her expertise in a supportive and non-judgmental way. She was always punctual, communicated clearly, and consistently demonstrated excellent judgment when caring for our baby. What truly set her apart was her ability to anticipate needs and take initiative. She regularly helped with baby-related chores and household tasks without being asked, which significantly reduced my mental load during a busy and emotional transition back to work. She genuinely looked for ways to make our lives easier and often went above and beyond, even surprising us with thoughtful treats and gestures that made us feel cared for as well. She was wonderful with our baby, incredibly patient and attentive, and she also formed a great bond with our dog, Cooper. Her warmth, professionalism, and proactive nature gave us complete peace of mind every day she was in our home. While our time working together ended sooner than expected because I made the decision to leave my job and stay home with our daughter, she was incredibly understanding and supportive throughout the transition. Despite the change in circumstances, she remained gracious, flexible, and genuinely invested in our family’s well-being. Even now, she continues to check in on us, which speaks volumes about the relationships she builds and the level of care she brings to her work. It was clear from the beginning that this was much more than a job to her—she truly cared about our family. Any family would be fortunate to have her. I wholeheartedly recommend her and am confident she will bring the same level of care, dedication, kindness, and expertise to any household she joins.
