As a dedicated, compassionate caregiver, I take pride in my ability to provide both skilled support and a joyful presence for those in my care. I'm a licensed and insured RN. Caring for my own mother who had dementia in her 90s gave me my best experience. I lived with her the last three years; kept her active; conversant; hired caregivers; worked with hospice for two years. I'm physically fit and able to perform a broad range of skills from providing essential daily hygiene assistance such as bathing and toileting to helping with therapies, meds including shots, surgery aftercare. I also possess a deep sense of patience for clients facing confusion and other dementia related challenges.
