Martha was full-time nanny to our son for nearly 2 years (1.5 to 3.5 years old). We initially hired her to babysit for 1 day. Unlike other day-sitters we'd had, Martha immediately jumped in & just handled things proactively without us having to do/say anything. It was SO refreshing. Additionally, our son took to her immediately & we saw instant chemistry between them. After that first day, we knew she was a keeper & were fortunate she agreed to stay with us for nearly two years. The best thing about Martha is she genuinely loves our child. You can just see the love and joy in her eyes when interacting with him. That is really the main thing we cared about -- just to know someone will love your child they way you, as their parents, do. Another great quality she has is the ability to establish and enforce boundaries in a loving, patient way. We knew our son would be taught good manners & values when we were away. Lastly, she is punctual, dependable, & has strong work ethic.
