About Marquissa

Hello! My name is Marquissa. I am a dedicated caregiver and a proud mother to a beautiful 23-month-old boy, which has further deepened my understanding of child development and reinforced my passion for creating nurturing, supportive environments for children. I graduated from Walnut Ridge High School here in Columbus then went on to secure both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies from Howard University. Through my coursework, including Child Development, Psychology of Child Abuse & Neglect, and Cognitive Psychology, I have developed a deep understanding of child growth and behavior. With over five years of hands-on experience as a nanny, I create nurturing environments that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development utilizing age-appropriate methods to encourage resilience, independence, and learning.
