have been providing care and companionship to elderly persons in their homes for 15 years I am very compassionate, gentle, patient, have a great sense of humor and am highly reliable. I have since cared for a number of older adults with dementia (all phases), mobility issues, hearing and sight impaired, cancer and other age related challenges. I have experience in providing all of the following (as needed): Meal prep, feeding, med management/reminders, light housekeeping (laundry), driving to doctor's and other appointments, errands/shopping. I also encourage those in my care to exercise to the extent possible to maintain strenght and balance, and also try to engage in any activities such as games or puzzles to help cognition. I have maintained lasting relationships with families of loved ones for whom I've cared, and can provide excellent references. I am also "pet friendly".
