About MARLYN

Hi! My name is Marlyn, and I have several years of experience working with children in educational and childcare settings. I have worked as a substitute teacher with students in grades K-12, including a long-term substitute teaching position. I also have experience working in after-school programs and providing academic and classroom support. Working with such a wide range of ages has taught me how to adapt to each child's individual personality and needs. I am patient, dependable, caring, and comfortable helping with homework, keeping children engaged, planning age-appropriate activities, and maintaining routines. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish, which has allowed me to work closely with children and families from many different backgrounds. Creating a safe, positive, and comfortable environment for children is very important to me.
