Dear Parents, My name is Marlith. I understand that by your being on this website, you are looking for an experienced, qualified and caring nanny for your child or children. As my attached resume shows, I have 10 years of childcare experience for various families throughout the Bay Area. My years of childcare experience have left me well equipped to care for children aged newborn to 10 years old. In addition to caring for other people's children, I have raised three of my own sons to be responsible, loving and successful young adults. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for little ones, one in which they feel protected and can grow into well-adjusted individuals. I take safety extremely seriously, and I am trained and certified in childhood first aid and CPR. I believe in a firm, but loving, approach to discipline. I have a clean driving record, reliable vehicle and willingness to drive children to and from various events. Play-dates, field trips, extra-curricular activities and walks to the park are all under my areas of expertise. I love children and greatly enjoy their company. I understand the importance of healthy cognitive development, as well as fine and gross motor development, when children are at such an influential age. Activities such as Play-Doh molding, singing, dancing, word acquisition and color recognition are all encouraged under my childcare services. I have taken English Learning courses, as well as Early Childhood Development classes at College. I don't mind performing extra household chores, such as light cleaning, laundry, household organization, preparing snacks and light meals, as long as a far price is negotiated beforehand. I am comfortable caring for infant twins, in addition to keeping an infant's daily schedule in regular working order. I'm able and more than willing to work nights and weekends, as well as travel with the children on holidays and family outings.
