I come from a large family and have been around children my whole life. I started babysitting in my neighborhood when I started high school. I love hanging out with and caring for children. I graduated from college with a degree in chemistry and decided I needed a break from the lab. Now I am nannying and loving life. I have a heart for children and love hanging out, discovering the world, and going on adventures with them. I worked as a part time Nanny for a great family in Santa Barbara, watching their 1-year-old for nearly a year. After that I nannied a 3-month-old baby for 5 months. I have experience with babies as young as 3 months old up to middle schoolers. If you need someone great to care for your children, Marliss is for you! I was so nervous finding someone to care for my (almost) one year old for our wedding. Marliss was so calm and so good with my son. In spite of him being particularly fussy. She really put me at ease and took excellent care of my baby boy. I wish she lived in San Diego so I could employ her full time! You won't be sorry you hired her.
