About Marleshka

Hi! My name is Marleshka but you can call me Marly. I am a current senior at the University of Vermont and I am studying Psychological Science and minoring in Japanese. I graduate in May 2026. I am fluent and native in Spanish. Once I graduate, I hope to pursue a master's in social work to become a LCSW and work with those in underserved communities and with mental illness, particularly children. I have mentored for the DREAM program since October 22, organizing activities and looking after children aged 3-18 with peers. I volunteer at least 3 hrs/week. I have also volunteered in a Head Start preschool and assisted the teachers with children aged 5 and younger. This was from September 2023-December 2023. I currently hold an American Heart Association BLS Certification valid until April 2027. This includes adult and child CPR, first-aid, and Naloxone training. In my free time, I love to crochet, volunteer, listen to music, and bake sweets! I can't wait to work with you!
