About Marlen

Hi families! My name is Marlen and I'm a 21-year-old senior at the University of Southern California (USC), double majoring in Legal Studies and Spanish. I enjoy cooking, baking, painting, hiking and learning new things! I've been caring for kids of all ages-from newborns to pre-teens-for 7+ years, and I truly love working with children. I'm looking to help part-time or one-time depending on your needs and I'm flexible. Beyond babysitting, I have experience as a tutor and counselor, mentoring elementary students in South LA. I've taken early childhood development courses and understand the patience, safety, and trust required in childcare. Parents can count on me to be reliable, caring, and attentive. I would not be able to drive children anywhere however I am happy to watch over them either at your home or my own home. Lastly, I am bilingual and fully fluent in English and Spanish.
