Marlene never meets a stranger. Years  ago when I relocated to this residential community, she warmly welcomed me. Marlene brings lots of energy and optimism to all our interactions. Through the community web portal, she frequently communicates the need to better care for the  most vulnerable around us - the elderly and the youth. She is a natural leader who cares, motivates and, inspires others in word and action. She is the brainchild of a local walking group in our area created to encourage neighbors to strive towards and maintain healthy lifestyles. Marlene is a kind and caring professional who takes pride in her work caring for her clients.  I first met Marlene after taking a walking in my community and got overheated. I have known Marlene for a long time well over a decade.   As a matter of fact we worked for the same large corporation, in the past, but time has changed and my friend is now involved in caring for people. I am a double lung transplant recipient.  I hired Marlene to care for my twins during my hospitalization and upon my return home for an additional 4 weeks.  During my hospital stay I did not have to worry about the care of my kids because Marlene keep me updated with texts, photos, voice messages, and emails.  They were being well taken care of and I felt 100% confident that their needs were being met.  I knew this because they were happy.  I heard the happiness in their voices and the smiles on their faces from the photos and videos I received daily.  This comfort allowed me to rest and focus on my recovery.  I was discharged in less than two weeks after surgery and was able to return home with my children.  
Upon arriving home I was assigned a home attendant and visiting nurse.  But, this lasted for only about 2 weeks.  I still needed help with daily activities, maintaining my household and caring for my twins.  Marlene stepped up to the challenge and took care of everything!

There is no one else I would want taking care of my loved ones. Marlene has been apart of our family for many years. She has cared for my Grandmother, rest her soul, as well as my 3 little children. She is nurturing, professional, clean, and a wonderful cook. 

I just wished we still lived in the same town. Whoever hires her next will have a gem of a person in Marlene
