My name is Marlene and I am currently working on my masters at the University of Texas at Dallas, but I am back home for the summer and I'm looking for a way to earn a little extra money while doing the thing I love. I love being a babysitter and have been watching infants, toddlers and kids since I was 16 years old! I worked for a daycare, and a school where I had the opportunity to become CPR certified and learn on how to be the best caretaker I can be. With me, your children will receive appropriate care, and I'm willing to do additional other tasks if requested.

I cannot recommend Marlene enough. She came to help us out when our regular nanny was on her 2 week vacation over the holidays. Marlene was so confident during the interview process, and I love that she had worked at a daycare so was already very familiar with the schedule for my 14-month old. Our son is very much at the "stranger danger" age, so I was nervous to have someone new with him, but he took to her within a day! Each morning he was more and more excited to see her. Marlene was so communicative, high-energy (perfect for our son), took initiative around the house to tidy up during nap time, and overall dependable. They spent a lot of time outside and she had no issues adapting to his schedule and needs. We were so sad to see her go but definitely plan on staying in touch for future jobs!
