About Marlene

Unlocking your child's unique potential is my primary goal. With three years of experience supporting elementary students in Math, English, Art, and Special Education, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I create an engaging, patient environment by observing how your child interacts with new material and adapting my approach through visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect lessons to personal interests to maintain momentum. I prioritize open communication with you to ensure we remain a collaborative team in your child's success. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications and am happy to meet your student at school. I look forward to helping your child discover the joy of learning.
